Job Purpose:
To provide crucial support in aligning project management practices with the organization’s strategic objectives. This role is key to developing standardized methodologies, monitoring project health, and delivering insightful reporting to ensure project success and strategic value.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
1. Strategic Alignment & Governance

Assist in aligning projects and initiatives with the organization's strategic goals and priorities.

Support project governance activities to ensure strategic alignment, optimal resource use, and effective risk management.

Help develop and implement criteria for project selection, prioritization, and integration across various divisions.
2. Methodology & Standards Development

Support the development, promotion, and continuous improvement of standardized project management methodologies, tools, and templates.

Help build and maintain a central library of project management resources for use across the organization.
3. Project Monitoring & Control
-
Monitor the execution and governance of both internal and external projects.

Assist in developing and implementing project metrics and KPIs to track progress, performance, and health.

Coordinate with department and project teams to review status reports, identify risks and issues, and facilitate mitigation strategies.

Implement corrective actions to keep projects on track and incorporate lessons learned into future processes.
4. Data Analysis & Reporting

Collect and analyze project-related data from PMs and departments to identify trends, variances, and areas requiring attention.

Develop and maintain clear, concise executive dashboards and reports to provide accurate project status updates.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
-
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional Certifications: PMP or PRINCE2 certification is required. P3O or MSP certification is a strong advantage.

Years of Experience: 1-3 years of direct experience in a project management or project support role.

Nature of Experience: Proven experience supporting projects, analyzing data, and contributing to PMO functions.
